Back-to-back-to-back… to back Inc. 5000 honoree!
We are ecstatic to announce that A-Tech has been ranked at 1,972 in the 2021 Inc. 5000 list of, America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies, moving us up the ladder for the fourth consecutive year!
To put this achievement into perspective there are over 27 million private companies registered in the US, an estimated 5.7 million registered companies have employees and less than 3% of all US businesses would even be able to apply for the 5,000 companies list based on the combined revenue and growth requirements necessary to qualify.
Once you are an INC 5000 honoree you are in a rarified group of leaders and growth-minded teams. Of those that make the INC 5000 list, an estimated 13% of honorees have the continued tenacity to obtain this honor four times and even less do it consecutively. Our average annual growth rate over the last four years is 50% and our combined four-year growth rate is an astounding 198%!!
This is attributed to a determined leadership team and the continual recruitment of high-caliber employees that continue to improve our services, our culture, and the A-Tech experience for our customers and employees.
A company that just five years ago consisted of only 13 people, now employs over 80 amazing people and services four states throughout the west coast. This growth and success are no accident, but the result of tenacious and fearless leadership, ongoing strategic planning, and an incredible team of individuals who knew how to pivot during a global pandemic.

This prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies presents an inside look at up-and-coming privately held companies in nearly every realm of business. This honor puts A-Tech in a pedigree of companies like Zappos, Microsoft, Pandora, Oracle, and other internationally recognized brands.
“For decades, Inc. has welcomed the fastest-growing private companies in America, and this year’s set of winners places the bar very high indeed.” writes Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “Companies that made the list, on average, have grown sixfold since 2016. During a stretch when the economy grew just 15 percent, that’s a result most businesses could only dream of.”
In an industry as niche as environmental testing and consulting, it is an incredible honor to be in the ranks of these other amazing companies and solidifies the immense amount of work that has gone into building A-Tech.

We would be fooling ourselves if we said the road to our success came easily. Up against an uncertain economy, a global pandemic, and a labor shortage in the United States, it took the strength of an incredible team to not only survive but thrive over the past year.
Despite all odds, A-Tech was able to grow 42.6% in 2020, an amazing achievement in an unprecedented time that could not be possible without the talented and hard-working team that we have assembled. People with varying skill sets and industry expertise have come together to build more than a company, we have built a family.
From our front-line environmental health and safety technicians to the leadership team to the people behind the scenes making sure everything runs smoothly, each member of our team is an essential part of our business. We take pride in making sure that everyone is treated with equal respect and that every question, idea, or concern is addressed.

Success as I define it is a preparation meeting opportunity. We are continually preparing for the next opportunity and in this industry, there is an ever-
growing opportunity. Unfortunately, new health hazards and pollutants are emerging in our built and natural environment continually.
Our consistent and ongoing focus is building a quality team of diverse industry professionals, build brand awareness as the industry experts, expand our service offerings to encompass all health, safety, and environmental needs of our clients, expand our regional and national footprint. On a bigger picture level, we want to be on the front lines of educating the business community on worker safety and protection, advocate for more training and access for personal protection equipment for the workforce, especially for first responders and healthcare workers.
On a reflective note, 2020 and 2021 have been stressful; I would like our team to enjoy the results more, be able to breathe a bit (of cleaner air), have more fun, and celebrate our wins together, starting with this one as INC 5000 Honoree 2021. Of course, there is also the goal of making the INC 5000 list next year, making it 5 consecutive times and INC honor roll, in an unprecedented time as this, that is a great achievement to attain.
