AIRBORNE SILICA SAMPLING
If an employer suspects that silica is a potential hazard at the construction site, even though it is not known for sure, they are still required by OSHA to communicate this potential hazard to all employees.
From there, a certified industrial hygienist should be contacted to set up a cyclone sampling pump to trap any respirable silica particles from the air at the job site.
Our certified industrial hygienists are professionally trained to monitor, sample, and assess the air for respirable silica particles.
