Senior Project Geologist
Professional Experience
Ms. Azita Assadi has more than twenty-two (22) years of experience in geological and hydrogeological subsurface characterization/due diligence/Phase II ESA studies; soil/groundwater quality assessment and disposal/remedial options such as pump/treat, stabilization/solidification, and soil/groundwater vapor extraction; soil and groundwater data gap analysis; water supply and well capacity studies; aquifer test analysis; hydrogeological baseline condition/impact assessment; landfill studies; spill prevention, control, and counter measurement (SPCC) plans. She has managed a wide variety of projects with the preparation of work plans, cost estimates, and memorandum/reports. She has conducted field investigation activities including supervision of drilling activities such as Direct Push, Rotary, Sonic, Hollow Stem Auger, Cable Tool drillings; installation of groundwater well and vapor well installation, supervision of ASTs/USTs removal and construction soil sampling activities and soil/groundwater waste disposal and manifests. She has conducted soil, groundwater (including PFAS), air, sub-slab vapor, and LNAPL sampling, and has performed groundwater monitoring and sampling using low-flow and Grundfos pumps. She has performed/analyzed well gaging and monitoring well condition assessment, and pump tests/slug tests in support of hydrogeology studies.
